Mark & Lori started Metro 1 Courier in 1991 with one simple idea - to provide the highest quality courier service at the lowest possible cost, without cutting corners. That’s how we do business today!
Prior to launching Metro 1 Courier, Mark was a 20 year veteran of the courier industry. Mark held executive positions at two of the leading courier companies in Texas. He served as the vice-president of the North Texas Delivery Association.
Lori has been involved since 1985 in all aspects of the courier business. Like Mark, she started as a courier and learned all aspects of running a business.

Meet Mr. Bug - the CEO (Canine Executive Officer) here at Metro 1 Courier.
Mr. Bug comes to work a couple of times a week and greets all visitors, albeit he spends much of his time begging for food (which of course the couriers try to accommodate by sneaking him chicken).
Jimbo is our CFO - Canine Financial Officer. Jimbo has been with Metro 1 since 1998. Another rescue dog, Jimbo spends his time visiting with the staff and stealing sandwiches. He really likes to get in the car and ride along for deliveries. Life is good when you’re a dog at Metro 1!
